John Silcock
Chief Executive Officer
With over 30 years experience within the insurance industry, with the last 20 having been an Insurance Broker, John is the Chief Executive of Panacea Brokers. John has a demonstrable track record of running high quality insurance brokerages all of which have operated within the framework of a tightly regulated environment
Outside of work, John is married with 2 sons and lives in rural Perthshire. He has been involved with a number of non-profit organisations on a voluntary basis (including the BIBA SME Advisory Board) and is a keen rugby fan and social golfer.
John is a graduate of The University of Stirling (Political Science).

Tony Parker
Head of London & International
With over 45 years experience in the insurance industry, Tony heads up the London & International operations for Panacea Brokers.
Tony is a specialist in property, construction, restaurant, hospitality & corporate insurance working with owners, investors, developers & lenders.

Stuart George
Head of Scotland
With over 25 years of industry experience, Stuart brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Panacea Brokers, where he heads up the Scottish operations. A trusted specialist in professional indemnity, technology insurance, cyber insurance, and property and construction cover, Stuart is known for his client-first approach, working closely with businesses to understand what matters most and delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs.
Beyond the boardroom, Stuart’s dedication continues on the pitch. He’s married and a proud dad, an active coach and operations lead for his daughter’s football team, where his passion for teamwork and mentorship shines.
Whether he’s navigating complex insurance landscapes or cheering from the sidelines, Stuart brings energy, expertise, and heart to everything he does.

Nick Atherton
Director
Nick spent 17 years as CEO of Morphose Capital Partners, where he led the firm’s M&A practice and advised on more than 50 transactions across the Engineering, Cleaning, Technology, and Insurance sectors. During his tenure, he developed deep expertise in structuring and executing deals that maximise shareholder value, working across the full transaction lifecycle from opportunity identification to complex off-market acquisitions.
In the insurance sector, Nick played a key role in several landmark transactions, including deals with Gibson Harwik and Borland Insurance, further strengthening his reputation as a trusted advisor to management teams and investors.
Alongside his M&A career, Nick has built a strong track record in early-stage funding for E-commerce, Technology, and Life Sciences businesses. He has supported successful raises for companies including Hospitaliti, Home, Paradise Fold, Infinitesema, and FA Bio.
Nick also sits on the boards of several technology companies and remains a Non-Executive Director at Morphose Capital Partners, maintaining his close links to the private equity and high-net-worth investment community.
